Flow Filigree Ring

Last month, when I made the impulsive decision to sign into the gallery, I sat down at my bench to capture the wild energy of a swiftly changing landscape. I directed these thoughts into a new ring carving, infusing a calm playfulness and a deep knowing that we are all exactly where we should be.

The design is a wave that wraps around the finger, reminiscent of a winding river and the path it carves through the sand, silt and landscape. Ever so slowly influencing and morphing the landscape with the constant force of flowing movement.
The rivulets of spirals are the playful splashes of water that tickle the land’s edge.

This design is about the importance of going with the flow of life. Sometimes following the path of least resistance. Other times forging and carving your own path no matter what the obstacle. Listening to the glimmers of signs around you.
